STATEMENT FROM CONGRESSIONAL CANDIDATE WILL ROLLINS ON KEN CALVERT’S COMMITMENT TO BACK JIM JORDAN FOR SPEAKER OF THE HOUSE

CORONA, C.A. — On Monday, Republican Ken Calvert posted a statement online indicating that he will support far-right extremist Jim Jordan to be the next Speaker of the House.

In response, congressional candidate Will Rollins released the following statement:

“Today, Ken Calvert made it clear to Californians that he doesn’t have the spine to stand up against the extreme MAGA agenda, which has officially taken control of the House of Representatives.

“Calvert is ponying up for Jordan’s culture war crusades to ban abortion nationwide, strip away critical healthcare services for millions of Americans, endanger LGBTQ+ Californians, and defund law enforcement instead of focusing on securing good-paying jobs and community investments for his constituents. We need to stop Calvert once and for all, and I’m going to send this far-right extremist packing in 2024. Riverside County families deserve better.”
