WILL ROLLINS RELEASES FINAL AD OF THE 2024 CYCLE
New Ad Sets the Record Straight on Taxes with Riverside County Voters
CORONA, C.A. — Over the weekend, Democratic nominee for California’s 41st District Will Rollins released his final ad of the 2024 campaign, entitled, “Taxes.”
The new spot sets the record straight with voters in Riverside County that Will supports a tax cut for middle-class families, and has a proven record doing so while working in Governor Schwarzenegger’s administration.
“Taxes” is running in both the Los Angeles and Palm Springs media markets through Election Day and you can watch the new ad HERE.
In 2017, Congressman Ken Calvert voted for the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act of 2017 (H.R. 1), which effectively cost the average taxpayer in California an additional $2,000 per year by instituting a cap on what homeowners can deduct from their state and local tax (SALT). At the same time, the vote handed out massive tax breaks to billionaires in other states like Wyoming.
Calvert has made it clear he isn’t focused on lowering costs and making life more affordable for Riverside County families, but rather focused on lining his own pockets. Calvert has voted against raising the minimum wage, against infrastructure legislation that has created six-figure paying union jobs in Riverside County, and against pro-union legislation like the PRO Act to preserve individuals’ right to organize and collectively bargain. Meanwhile, he has directed taxpayer dollars to boost the values of his own real estate investments, increasing his net worth by up to $20 million since taking office in 1993. After being named one of the most corrupt members of Congress, Calvert has come under scrutiny again this year for failing to disclose properties that he owns that fall near transit projects he directed federal tax dollars to through earmarks.

Will Rollins is a Palm Springs resident and Southern California native. A former federal prosecutor and counterterrorism law attorney, he is now the Democratic nominee for Congress in California’s 41st Congressional District. California’s 41st District is shaping up to be a key 2024 matchup that will help decide the House majority. Punchbowl News called it the #2 most critical race in the battle for control of the House, and the National Journal ranked it as one of its 15 seats most likely to flip this November.
