WILL ROLLINS PUTS ON LARGEST CONGRESSIONAL FUNDRAISER IN PALM SPRINGS HISTORY
Sen. Barbara Boxer, Palm Springs Councilmember Geoff Kors, James Williamson, and many others raise over $210,000 for Democratic congressional candidate and former federal prosecutor Will Rollins
PALM SPRINGS, CA — On Sunday, May 1st, at the home of Hon. Geoff Kors and James Williamson, Senator Barbara Boxer and other hosts from across the Coachella Valley hosted what is believed to be the largest fundraiser for a Democratic congressional candidate in the region’s history. With over 300 attendees and $210,000 raised for one event, voters, hosts, and elected officials came together to make a statement that Ken Calvert will not represent the cities remaining in the newly drawn CA-41.
Will Rollins released the following statement:
“Thank you to the hundreds of friends who joined this energizing and fun event. I continue to be humbled and honored by your support, and I promise to represent you with honesty and integrity. While corporations and special interest groups continue to fill Ken Calvert’s coffers, our support from individuals shows that people across the Inland Empire and Coachella Valley will not stand to be represented by a congressman who is out of step with them on every issue.”
Senator Barbara Boxer released the following statement:
“To me, it is appalling that Republican Ken Calvert could be my representative with his extremist views and anti-democratic record. With so many issues on the line, Will’s candidacy is clearly galvanizing the Coachella Valley, the excitement is palpable.”

Rollins has Shattered Fundraising Records in His Bid to Defeat Rep. Ken Calvert in the 2022 Midterms
Last month, Rollins announced that he already raised nearly $800,000 in his campaign against Republican Ken Calvert after just five months in the race, shattering the all-time fundraising record for any candidate to challenge Calvert since he was first elected in 1992.
A new third-party poll also showed that only 17% of voters in the newly-drawn congressional district would reelect Calvert, and that Rollins leads Calvert in a head-to-head contest by 10 points when voters learn of the incumbent’s scandal-plagued career.
Rollins has earned the endorsement of many prominent Democrats across California, including former U.S. Senator Barbara Boxer, Lieutenant Governor Eleni Kounalakis, Congressman Raul Ruiz, Congressman Mark Takano, Congresswoman Jackie Speier, Congressman Mike Levin, Congressman Brad Sherman, Mayor Lisa Middleton of Palm Springs, and Mayor Tim Sheridan of Lake Elsinore.
