DEMOCRATIC CONGRESSIONAL CANDIDATE WILL ROLLINS CONDEMNS REP. KEN CALVERT’S ATTACK ON FBI AND DOJ
PALM SPRINGS, CA — In a statement released August 9, Rep. Ken Calvert impugned our nation’s top law enforcement agencies, writing: “All of us should be extremely concerned about what is happening to institutions – the DOJ and FBI – that must be above reproach. Should House Republicans regain the Majority, it will be incumbent upon us investigate to [sic] and root out the rot that has infiltrated these agencies.”
In response, Will Rollins issued the following statement:
“Ken Calvert hit a new low in attacking the brave men and women in law enforcement keeping Americans safe from threats both foreign and domestic. Calvert’s willingness to undermine public trust in the FBI and the Justice Department to further his own anti-democratic agenda after voting to throw out Americans’ votes in the 2020 presidential election is not only disgraceful – it’s dangerous.
“I worked in counterterrorism. If the search at Mar-a-Lago intended to protect classified information, that isn’t partisan — it’s about saving lives. We deserve a representative who cares about the rule of law and keeping our national security secrets safe more than subservience to any one politician.”
