DEMOCRATIC CONGRESSIONAL CANDIDATE WILL ROLLINS HOSTS TEMESCAL VALLEY TOWN HALL EVENT

Rollins invites voters to ask him directly about the issues that matter most to them

PALM SPRINGS, CA — On Monday, October 10th, voters will have the opportunity to meet counterterrorism prosecutor and Democratic Congressional candidate Will Rollins and ask him directly about the topics that matter most to them.

“The best way to learn about the people of this District and to understand their needs is to talk to them. Unlike my opponent, I welcome opportunities to meet with voters, to hear what matters to them, and to answer their questions,” Rollins said.

“Choosing your representative is a big decision, and voters should have the chance to meet candidates in person. I’ve even made several offers to debate my opponent Ken Calvert, but so far, those offers haven’t been accepted. Voters throughout the District have told me that they’ve also struggled to get Rep. Calvert to answer their calls or show up for in-person events during his three decades in office. Well, I am showing up now, and I will show up when I’m elected,” Rollins said.

This in-person event will take place in the backyard of a private home in Temescal Valley, and the address will be provided upon registration. Doors open at 6pm; the program runs from 6:30pm to 7:30pm. Everyone is welcome, but reservations are strictly required. Members of the press who would like to attend the event should email Communications Director Tracey Starr at [email protected].

The Temescal Valley Town Hall is the third in a series of four planned town hall events throughout the District. The first one was in Wildomar in August, the second was in Corona in September, and the fourth will be in La Quinta on October 19th.
