Experienced federal prosecutor Rollins seen as the right choice for our communities

PALM SPRINGS, CA — Democratic congressional candidate and former federal prosecutor Will Rollins announced today that several prominent former law enforcement leaders have endorsed his campaign, affirming their commitment to the rule of law, regardless of political party. They are Stan Sniff, Riverside County Sheriff (Ret); Raymond Gregory, Riverside County Assistant Sheriff (Ret); and Henry “Hank” Rosenfeld, Chief of Police (Ret), UC Riverside.

Rollins said: “It’s my honor to have the endorsement and support of these long-serving leaders of Riverside County law enforcement. I’ve spent the past five years working to keep everyone in Riverside County safe, serving as a federal prosecutor here in the Central District. I come from a family of Republicans and Democrats, and I became a federal prosecutor to fight terrorism and make our nation stronger. I will always stand up for truth and justice. Like these leaders, I believe we all deserve a representative who cares about the rule of law and keeping our nation safe, rather than subservience to any one politician or political party.”

Stan Sniff is a lifelong moderate conservative who grew up in Riverside County and spent 40 years as a full-time law enforcement officer here, serving his last eleven years as the county’s Sheriff. Sniff said: “I’m proud to endorse Will Rollins for Congress, because I know that he’ll continue working to keep our communities safe, and to stand steadfast with our law enforcement and public safety professionals.”

Raymond Gregory, Riverside County Assistant Sheriff (Ret) and current Cathedral City Councilmember, said: “It’s my honor to fully endorse Will Rollins in this race, both as a Councilmember representing the City of Cathedral City, and in my capacity as Assistant Sheriff (Retired) of the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department. As a federal prosecutor, Will worked to bring justice to those who threatened our national security. In Congress, I know he’ll fight to do the same, keeping our communities safe, and ensuring no one is above the law.”

Henry “Hank” Rosenfeld, Chief of Police (Ret), UC Riverside, said: “I’m proud and honored to endorse Will Rollins for Congress. As a federal prosecutor, Will demonstrated his commitment to justice and fairness while accumulating knowledge and expertise in critical public safety matters relating to white-collar crimes and national security (counterterrorism and counterintelligence). In Congress, I am confident that he will be a strong advocate for and representative of his constituents. And I know that he will continue to work in the best interests of our nation, striving to keep our country and communities safe, and to make the American dream accessible to everyone.”

These endorsements add to impressive list of national, state and local support for Will Rollins, including CA Attorney General Rob Bonta, former Republican Leader of the the CA State Assembly Chad Mayes, the Los Angeles Times, Congressman Raul Ruiz, Congressman Mark Takano, Congressman Pete Aguilar, CA Governor Gavin Newsom, U.S. Senator Alex Padilla, U.S. Senator Barbara Boxer (ret.), Lt. Governor Eleni Kounalakis, Congressman Adam Schiff, Congresswoman Jackie Speier, Congressman Brad Sherman, Congressman Mike Levin, and many more.
