STATEMENT FROM FORMER FEDERAL PROSECUTOR WILL ROLLINS ON THE THIRD ANNIVERSARY OF THE JANUARY 6, 2021 INSURRECTION
Rollins helped the Justice Department prosecute those who stormed the Capitol
CORONA, C.A. — Today, on the third anniversary of the January 6, 2021 insurrection, Congressional Candidate and former federal prosecutor Will Rollins released the following statement:
“January 6, 2021 was indeed a dark moment in our history: the first time in more than 245 years that America did not have a peaceful transfer of power from one president to the next. The plot to end our democracy failed because just enough of our elected leaders – including some Republicans – put their careers and personal safety on the line to protect our Constitution. Ken Calvert is not one of those Republicans.
“Yet three years later, with our democracy still under threat, I am hopeful for our future. That’s because every day campaigning, I meet more and more ordinary Republicans in Riverside County who tell me that Ken Calvert does not speak for you: the voters who know that this country is about more than one person, and who embrace our shared responsibility to make America a better place for the next generation.
“That spirit of progress and shared patriotism – of putting country over party – has always prevailed, even in our darkest and most divided moments. That’s why I will never stop working to unite Democrats, Republicans, and Independents in this campaign. That’s why we will share our victory together in November. And that’s why we are lucky to call the United States of America our home.”

About Will Rollins
Will Rollins served as a federal prosecutor with the Terrorism and Export Crimes Section of the National Security Division. In 2021, Rollins helped prosecute Southern California residents who participated in the January 6 attack, including Gina Bisignano, the Louis Vuitton and Chanel wearing Beverly Hills cosmetologist who was caught on camera in the U.S. Capitol’s terrace on January 6th declaring, “you are not going to take away our Trumpy Bear.” Bisignano later called for violent reinforcement for the Capitol insurrectionists, yelling “we need gas masks. We need weapons. We need strong, angry patriots to help our boys, they don’t want to leave. We need protection.” Bisignano was accused of encouraging rioters to break a window and then storming inside the Capitol thereafter.
Additionally, in his role with the Department of Justice, Rollins took on MS-13, the Sinaloa Cartel, ISIS terrorists, and Iranian nationals who violated U.S. sanctions.
About Ken Calvert
Ken Calvert is an election denier who voted to decertify the results of the 2020 presidential election. He then called for dropping charges against the insurrectionists who attacked cops at the Capitol on January 6th. Over the past several years, Calvert has continually undercut law enforcement, voting to defund local law enforcement agencies and calling the FBI “infiltrated” by rot.
