WILL ROLLINS OUT-RAISES KEN CALVERT FOR THE SECOND QUARTER IN A ROW

CA-41 expected to be one of the most expensive House races in 2024

CORONA, C.A. — Earlier this month, Will Rollins announced that his campaign raised well over $1 million in 2023’s fourth quarter, bringing his off-year raise to over $2.8 million. Rollins’ campaign raised more money outside of an election year than any other challenger candidate in California history. This week, Ken Calvert’s campaign announced that it raised $780,000 in the fourth quarter, marking the second quarter in a row that Rollins has out-raised Calvert.

“Our fundraising success is all thanks to our tremendous grassroots supporters,” said Rollins. “What we’ve seen from the public fundraising reports is a clear contrast in this race. While corporate special interests are lining Calvert’s pockets, tens of thousands of individuals are supporting ours — with new grassroots donors joining every day. The power of the people will always ultimately surpass special interests, and we are building a campaign centered around the simple notion that Washington just isn’t working for working people anymore. Corrupt extremists like Ken Calvert have prioritized profits over people, and together, we are going to unseat Calvert, reform Washington, and focus on delivering strong jobs, wages, and benefits for Riverside County families. That message is resonating and our fundraising advantage is clear proof.”

California’s 41st District is widely expected to be a critical seat in the battle for House control. As reported by Punchbowl News this week, “the cash that will be poured into the Calvert-Rollins rematch will be staggering. Remember, this is a top target for Democrats, and House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries was fundraising with Rollins this week.”
