ROLLINS CAMPAIGN HOLDS CALVERT ACCOUNTABLE FOR FAILING TO RESPECT LAW ENFORCEMENT
Calvert claims to be the tough on crime candidate, yet his record says otherwise
CORONA, C.A. — Congressional candidate Will Rollins’ campaign released a new ad, “No Respect,” making it clear to voters that MAGA extremist Ken Calvert has no respect for law enforcement.
The new ad contributes to the Rollins campaign’s ongoing TV and digital buy ahead of the March 5th primary election. You can watch the spot HERE.
“No Respect” reminds viewers at home of four important pieces of Calvert’s abysmal record on crime:
- Following the January 6 insurrection, Calvert called for charges to be dropped against the rioters who assaulted cops at the Capitol.
- Calvert previously claimed that the FBI had been infiltrated by “rot.”
- He voted in favor of legislation that, if passed, would have slashed 28,500 law enforcement officers.
- While a sitting member of Congress, he was caught with a prostitute and ran from the police.
You can read more about the strong contrast on law enforcement between Calvert and Rollins in a detailed memo HERE.
California’s 41st District is shaping up to be a key 2024 matchup that will help decide the House majority. Punchbowl News called it the #2 most critical race in the battle for control of the House, and the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee recently added Rollins to its coveted “Red to Blue” program.
