CONGRESSIONAL CANDIDATE WILL ROLLINS ANNOUNCES RECORD-SETTING $1.8M FIRST QUARTER FUNDRAISING HAUL
Rollins’ Q1 Raise is the Highest Ever in a Quarter Against Calvert
CORONA, C.A. — Today, Will Rollins, the Democratic nominee in California’s 41st District, announced that his campaign set an all-time fundraising record against Republican Ken Calvert, raising over $1.8 million in the first three months of 2024. The campaign will also file its April Quarterly Report with more than $3 million cash on hand.
“The contrast in our race could not be clearer, and that’s demonstrated by our continued fundraising success,” said Rollins. “Voters in California’s 41st District know that 32 years of Ken Calvert is far too much. It’s time to turn the page from his decades of corruption and MAGA extremism and bring in new leadership that works across the aisle to get things done for Riverside County. Together, we are going to win this race and deliver a pro-democracy and pro-working family agenda for the people of our district.”
The $1.8M haul is the single-highest fundraising quarter that anyone has ever raised against Ken Calvert. And it brings the campaign’s cycle-to-date total to well over $4.6M, which is nearly $1M more than the campaign raised in the entirety of the 2022 cycle, demonstrating the added momentum to end Ken Calvert’s more than 30-year political career.
Rollins’ fundraising prowess comes on the heels of other important updates in the first three months of 2024, including:
- Rollins officially advanced through the March 5th primary election, and CA-41 saw a total turnout that was five points higher than Riverside County as a whole.
- The Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee added Rollins to the first wave of its coveted “Red to Blue” program, signifying the importance of CA-41 on the path to regaining a Democratic majority in the House.
- Democratic Leader Hakeem Jeffries headlined his first fundraising event for a challenger this cycle for Rollins in Southern California.
