WILL ROLLINS SIGNIFICANTLY OUTRAISES KEN CALVERT IN 2024’s FIRST QUARTER
Releases by both campaigns show Rollins outpacing Calvert by at least $700k in first quarter fundraising
CORONA, C.A. — According to initial fundraising announcements by both campaigns, Democrat Will Rollins outraised Republican Ken Calvert by at least $700,000 in the first quarter of 2024. Rollins’ haul in excess of $1.8 million was the most money ever raised against Calvert in a quarter in Calvert’s 30+ year career in Congress.
“Riverside County voters are hungry for change and hungry for new leadership that will get Congress focused back on the issues facing Inland Empire and Coachella Valley residents,” said Rollins. “Instead of working to lower costs for families who can’t buy a home or who have to make impossible decisions between life-dependent prescription drugs and putting food on the table, Calvert has been focused on inside the beltway partisan politics and conceding to the demands of his MAGA bosses. When we flip this seat in November, I’ll have the will to put people over politics, the courage to stand up to my own party when it’s in the best interest of our district, and I’ll put in the hard work to prioritize delivering good jobs, wages, and benefits for our communities. Today’s fundraising news brings us one step closer to victory this fall and making that new people-first representation a reality for the 41st District.”
Rollins’ fundraising advantage news comes just after House Majority PAC made record reservations in the Los Angeles and Palm Springs media markets this week. The 41st has become a national focus in the fight for control of the House of Representatives, with Punchbowl News calling it the #2 most important district nationally in the battle for the majority.
