ROLLINS CAMPAIGN RELEASES NEW DIGITAL AD OF COMBAT VETERAN ANGELO PASCIUTI MAKING THE CASE FOR ROLLINS OVER CALVERT
Purple Heart recipient says Rollins is the right pick for veterans
CORONA, C.A. — Today, Congressional Candidate Will Rollins’ campaign released a new digital ad featuring Purple Heart winner Angelo “AJ” Pasciuti, who served four tours in Iraq and Afghanistan, earning a Purple Heart. Pasciuti was a Scout Sniper Team Leader and has been recognized for leading the effort to neutralize a prolific enemy sniper in Iraq responsible for killing American soldiers. Pasciuti also recovered a stolen Marine sniper rifle during the mission.
In the ad, Pasciuti calls out Congressman Ken Calvert for not firmly standing with veterans and abusing his office to line his own pockets, before making the case for Rollins.
“There’s a better choice for Congress: Will Rollins,” says Pasciuti in the spot. “As a counterterrorism prosecutor, Will Rollins went after the Sinaloa cartel, MS-13, and Al Qaeda to protect our country.” You can watch the new ad HERE, which is running online as part of Rollins’ seven-figure digital ad buy through the election in California’s 41st District.
The ad calls out two dangerous recent votes from Calvert that would have negatively affected veterans. One vote was to support an extreme plan that would have gut veterans healthcare, firing up to 81,000 employees serving veterans and leading to 13 million fewer healthcare appointments, increasing wait times and putting lives at risk. Another vote was against a bipartisan bill backed by the American Legion to ensure all veterans receive the GI bill benefits they earned.
Rollins, the grandson of WWII veterans, has highlighted his family’s service in past campaign ads and made standing with veterans a pillar of his campaign for Congress. National Security Leaders for America, whose leadership includes a host of decorated veterans, has endorsed Rollins’ campaign.
