NEW AD BLASTS KEN CALVERT FOR ANTI-CHOICE RECORD
Ad launch coincides with Capitol Hill Republicans blocking IVF bill
CORONA, C.A. — Democratic Nominee in California’s 41st District, Will Rollins, released a new ad this week highlighting reproductive freedom. The new spot, “Provider,” features a doctor with experience dealing with difficult pregnancies, and who acutely understands the threat posed by MAGA extremists’ anti-choice policies.
“I’ve been in the room with patients,” says the doctor. “When something goes wrong with a pregnancy, they have to make an unfathomable decision. MAGA extremists think it should be up to them.”
“Provider” is now running on broadcast television in the district. You can watch the spot by clicking HERE.
Just this week, Capitol Hill Republicans blocked federal legislation called the “Right to IVF” bill that would have established “a statutory right for individuals to access in vitro fertilization treatments and empowers the Justice Department to enforce the law.” Republicans have demonstrated again how out-of-touch they are with the American public on this issue, as 70% of Americans say that access to IVF treatment is “a good thing.”
In CA-41, Ken Calvert hasn’t shown any separation from his own party on choice. Calvert backed a six-week national abortion ban with no exceptions, he voted to functionally end IVF treatments for service members and block them for veterans, he voted to make it harder for pregnant service members to get an abortion, and he backed overturning Roe v. Wade.
Planned Parenthood Action Fund and Reproductive Freedom for All have both endorsed Will Rollins’ campaign to unseat Calvert this November.

Will Rollins is a Palm Springs resident and Southern California native. A former federal prosecutor and counterterrorism law attorney, he is now the Democratic nominee for Congress in California’s 41st Congressional District. California’s 41st District is shaping up to be a key 2024 matchup that will help decide the House majority. Punchbowl News called it the #2 most critical race in the battle for control of the House, and the National Journal ranked it as one of its 15 seats most likely to flip this November.
