THIRD QUARTER REPORTS DEMONSTRATE SURGE OF MOMENTUM BEHIND WILL ROLLINS
Rollins outraised Calvert in the third quarter by more than $100,000 through individual support
CORONA, C.A. — This weekend, Will Rollins and Ken Calvert filed their third-quarter fundraising reports with the Federal Elections Commission — and demonstrated the surge of momentum behind Rollins’ campaign. Rollins reported raising more than $836,000 — $100,000 more than Calvert during the latest filing period — carried by over 11,600 total donations.
Here’s a breakdown of the third-quarter fundraising comparison:
“The tide is turning here in California’s 41st District,” said Rollins. “The grassroots momentum behind our campaign is now outpacing the special interest and corporate PAC support for Calvert, and it’s going to carry us to victory. Ken Calvert’s extremism, the dysfunction on Capitol Hill, and the very real consequences of both here at home are motivating our supporters to step up. Our big tent of supporters are hungry for change in Riverside County — they want leadership that works for them, not the insiders in Washington. And with one grassroots contribution at a time, we’re building a campaign that is going to hold Calvert accountable, offer a positive vision for the future, and flip this seat next November.”
Here are additional stats on Rollins’ impressive grassroots haul:
- Over 8,000 total unique donors;
- 72% of all contributions came from donors in California;
- 94% of contributions were $100 or less;
- 69% of contributions were $25 or less.
