IN LATEST AD RELEASE, CONGRESSIONAL CANDIDATE WILL ROLLINS MAKES APPEAL TO EVERYDAY REPUBLICANS
“Grandparents” ad tells the story of Rollins’ Republican family ties and a changed GOP
CORONA, C.A. — In a new campaign ad called “Grandparents,” congressional candidate Will Rollins makes a direct appeal to everyday Republican voters who know that the extremist MAGA brand doesn’t represent their Republican Party.
The ad is the latest in the Rollins campaign’s TV and digital advertising program ahead of the March 5th Primary Election. You can watch the new spot HERE.
In the 60-second ad, Rollins tells voters, “I’m a lot of what the Republican Party used to be, but isn’t anymore,” drawing on his experience working for Republican Governor Schwarzenegger, as well as his tenure in counterterrorism as a federal prosecutor.
In his 2022 campaign, Rollins received notable bipartisan support, including endorsements from former Riverside County Sheriff Stan Sniff and former Republican Assembly Leader Chad Mayes. He also received support from a bipartisan group of senior former military and national security officials.
So far in the 2024 rematch, Calvert has expressed support for and taken direct support from the most extreme elements of the present-day Republican Party. POLITICO reported that Calvert endorsed Trump, Calvert is listed as a co-host on an upcoming Trump for President fundraising event, voted for Mike Johnson for Speaker, and took direct campaign contributions from Jim Jordan and Marjorie Taylor Greene.
California’s 41st District is shaping up to be a key 2024 matchup that will help decide the House majority. Punchbowl News called it the #2 most critical race in the battle for control of the House, and the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee recently added Rollins to its coveted “Red to Blue” program.
