DEMOCRAT WILL ROLLINS RELEASES NEW AD TOUTING SUPPORT FROM RIVERSIDE COUNTY POLICE OFFICERS
CORONA, C.A. — Today, Will Rollins, the Democratic Nominee for California’s 41st District, released a new TV and digital ad called “Officers.” The spot features testimonials from four police officers who are members of the Palm Springs Police Officers’ Association that in May endorsed Rollins for Congress.
“Will spent his career in law enforcement,” say the officers. “In Congress, Will Rollins will go after corruption in both political parties. We work hard every day, and we need better from Congress. We need Will Rollins.”
“Officers” is running as part of Rollins’ seven-figure ad blitz in the Los Angeles and Palm Springs media markets, which includes broadcast and cable television, streaming, digital platforms, direct mail, and radio ads. You can watch “Officers” HERE.
The Palm Springs Police Officers’ Association endorsement followed another law enforcement endorsement in April by the International Law Enforcement Officers Association (ILEOA). Rollins was also previously endorsed by the former elected sheriff of Riverside County, a Republican, as well as National Security Leaders for America, whose membership includes senior military, defense, intelligence, and law enforcement personnel who served in both Democratic and Republican administrations. Recently, Slate published a profile piece on Rollins leaning into his prosecutorial background and pro-law enforcement positions on the campaign trail.
The contrast between Rollins and Calvert on law enforcement issues could not be clearer. Calvert voted to defund law enforcement, claimed that the FBI had been infiltrated by “rot,” called for dropping charges on the insurrectionists who assaulted cops at the Capitol on January 6, and most famously, was once caught by police with a prostitute.
Voters have less than 50 days to make up their minds in the race for California’s 41st District, with ballots dropping in just three weeks.
